listen up, maggots [26 Jun 2005|03:45am] this is the site for my buddy cory's band. you will go to their site. you will go see their shows in pensacola. cory played on a couple of my crappy songs i did years ago. he's one of the best bass players you'll ever meet. i also helped teach him a few things on guitar... then he surpassed my skills. he is also a kick ass drummer. we were in a couple bands together. some i would sing in, others i would play guitar, but cory always got stuck playing bass since no one is better at it than him. we always had a weak link and it would fall apart. one band had david "fred" mitchell on drums and he sucked so bad. i don't know how that band came to be, we had a decent guitar player and cory was awesome on bass. cory asked me to be the singer, but we always had to play crappy songs cuz our drummer was weak. when the drums are weak, so is the bass and it wasn't much fun for cory. we were in another band that had a decent drummer, i played guitar, but the singer sucked. fuck. i miss making music with people. cory and i always stuck together cuz we got along so well. the other people we would play with would bitch and argue about what we'd play and that's why it always fell apart. me and cory would just play whatever. if we weren't feeling it, we would stop and go do something else. it's hard to find people like that. they get so anal and it kills creativity. i'm happy cory found a good group. he deserves it. i always wanted me, cory, and mike to get together, but it never happened. mike is the greatest guitar player i've met and he helped me get started when we were in highschool. i'm rambling though. go to their damn site and support my friend. 1 comment|post comment
